Overview of the WSS Series Bimetal Thermometers:
The protective tubes, flanges, locking bolts and other components of the bimetallic thermometers produced by our factory are all made of 1Cr18NiOT alloy. The case is formed by stretching aluminum plates and then processed by cutting and surface black electroplating. The cover and the box adopt a ring-shaped double-layer rubber ring with a tight screw structure. Therefore, the overall waterproof and anti-corrosion performance of the instrument is excellent. The radial type instrument adopts a bent pipe structure, with a novel, lightweight and unique appearance.
The bimetallic thermometer is a field detection instrument for measuring medium and low temperatures. It can directly measure the temperatures of liquids, vapors and gases in various production processes within the range of -80°C to +500°C. Compared with glass mercury thermometers, it has the advantages of being harmless, easy to read, and durable.
Working principle of the bimetallic thermometer:
The bimetallic thermometer is a single-pointer type indicating thermometer that uses a double-metal strip wound into a spiral tube. One end of the strip is fixed, and the other end is connected to the pointer. As the temperature changes, it rotates and drives the pointer to rotate to indicate the temperature.
Main technical characteristics of the bimetallic thermometer:
Temperature measurement range: -80 - 500°C
Accuracy grade: 1.0/1.5 grade
Temperature indicator part: (indicated by the outer diameter of the temperature gauge scale) divided into p60, q100, p150mm.
Tail pipe length: 100 - 2000mm.
Tail pipe diameter: p6, p10, (when the tail pipe length is 100 - 1250mm) 12 (when the tail pipe length is 1250 - 2000mm) Installation part threads: M16X1.5: M27X2: G1/2: G3/4. The material of the tail pipe and the fixing bolt head is 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel, with a pressure resistance of 6.4 MPa.
Waterproof performance: The outer shell of the thermometer should be able to withstand water spray from a faucet with a nozzle diameter of 25 millimeters at a distance of 5 meters (the water pressure before the nozzle outlet is less than 2 kilograms per square centimeter) for 5 minutes without any water penetrating into the interior of the thermometer's shell.
Complies with IP65 standard.

Bimetallic thermometer form
Thermal sleeve type: The Jin Tong type bimetallic thermometer is specially designed for use in high-temperature, high-pressure or corrosive gas environments. If the instrument is damaged, it must be cooled, depressurized or shut down. However, with the thermal sleeve type bimetallic thermometer, when the instrument is damaged and needs to be replaced, there is no need to reduce temperature, depressurize or shut down. It is only necessary to replace the instrument core. This enables continuous production for the enterprise.
Angular type (axial type): The detection element axis is perpendicular to the scale plate plane, also known as axial type.
Straight type (radial type): The detection element axis is parallel to the scale plate plane, also known as radial type.
Our factory produces radial type bimetallic thermometers with a unique tube-shaped design, which is novel, beautiful and lightweight. They have good corrosion resistance and waterproof performance. The case is compatible with the angular type thermometers and can be treated with black electroplating on aluminum plate stretching or formed from stainless steel plates.
The tube is also of fully stainless steel type. Universal type: In addition to having the functions of the angular type, it can also be converted from the angular type to the radial type or from the radial type to the angular type. Users can adjust the function at any level as needed. The wave tube and structural components used are all ICr18NiOT stainless steel, so the corrosion resistance of the thermometer is excellent. When leaving the factory in the angular type, the zero position does not need to be adjusted when using the angular type. If the user needs a straight type to be left at the factory, it must be specified in the order. When converting from the angular type to the radial type or from the radial type to the angular type, the indication value of the thermometer will have a slight change, which can generally be ignored. If the user has higher requirements, they can adjust the position when changing the type themselves. Users can unscrew the cover counterclockwise, then use a wrench to unscrew the locking nut of the scale plate in the ice point slot to adjust the "0" position, and then tighten the locking nut and the cover.
