The HQRS flow meter measures based on the widely accepted thermal mass flow principle of thermal gas mass flow meters, directly measuring thermal mass flow and displaying standard volumetric flow without requiring temperature and pressure compensation.
The HQRS is specifically designed for harsh environments, featuring an IP67 protection rating for all-weather applications. All parts in contact with the gas are made of 316L stainless steel, making it corrosion-resistant and capable of measuring dirty gases with high impurity content. It is explosion-proof certified and can measure explosive gases such as natural gas, hydrogen, and biogas, as well as corrosive gases. It is suitable for fuel and gas supply in furnaces, boilers, and industrial melting furnaces, and for gases in coolers. Basically, any mixed gas can be measured as long as the mixing ratio and composition are known and relatively stable. The HQRS thermal gas mass flow meter has powerful communication capabilities, providing communication interfaces for factory automation systems in modern factories. Hielscher's flow meters support not only traditional 4-20mA and pulse outputs but also various fieldbus interfaces such as HART, MODBUS, and M-BUS. The modular design makes it easy to adapt to other fieldbuses. The HQRS thermal gas mass flow meter also supports Bluetooth communication. The VA450 display has a diameter of 95mm and a thickness of 114mm, and can be adjusted (rotated or inverted) according to the site environment; it is suitable for pipe diameters DN15-DN300, and larger diameters can be customized. The HQRS thermal gas mass flow meter directly measures mass flow and standard volumetric flow, requiring no pressure compensation. It is suitable for a wide range of pipe sizes, with insertion type for large diameters and inline type for small diameters. It has no moving parts, and all parts in contact with the medium are made of 316L stainless steel. A robust and durable housing protects the device, making it suitable for harsh outdoor applications. Sensor settings can be changed on-site using a wireless Bluetooth interface. The screen displays flow rate, consumption, medium temperature, and diagnostic results. It features two analog outputs [4-20 mA] and one pulse output.
