Brief Introduction: The HQ-UHZ59-C magnetic level gauge uses a magnetic float as the measuring element and a magnet to drive the flip
column for display, requiring no power source. It is suitable for various environments, from low to high temperatures, and from vacuum to
high pressure. It is an ideal liquid level measurement product for industries such as petroleum and chemical processing.Detailed Introduction:
HQ-UHZ-59/C Series Side-Mounted Magnetic Level Gauge
HQ-UHZ-59/C Series Side-Mounted Magnetic Level Gauge Overview
The HQ-UHZ-59/C series side-mounted magnetic level gauge is a product developed and manufactured by our company based on the imported,
absorbed, digested, and improved magnetic level gauge standard HG/T21584-95 promulgated by the former Ministry of Chemical Industry.
It can be used for medium level detection in various towers, tanks, troughs, spherical containers, and boilers. This series of magnetic level
gauges achieves high sealing, leak prevention, and adaptability to liquid level measurement under high pressure, high temperature, and
corrosive conditions, providing reliable safety. It overcomes the shortcomings of traditional glass tube (plate) level gauges, such as
unclear indication and fragility. It is unaffected by drastic high and low temperature changes and eliminates the need for multiple level gauges.
The entire measurement process is free of blind spots, with a clear display, intuitive readings, and a large measurement range. Especially
noteworthy is the on-site indication section, which, because it does not directly contact the liquid medium, demonstrates superior performance
in high-temperature, high-pressure, high-viscosity, toxic, harmful, and highly corrosive media. Therefore, it offers higher reliability, safety,
advanced technology, and practicality compared to traditional U-shaped glass tube and plate level gauges.

※HQ-UHZ-59/C Series Side-Mounted Magnetic Level Gauge Structure and Working Principle
The level gauge is developed based on the buoyancy principle and magnetic coupling effect. When the liquid level in the measured container rises or falls, the float in the main pipe of the level gauge also rises or falls accordingly. The permanent magnet inside the float transmits the magnetic coupling to the on-site indicator, driving the red and white flip-flops to rotate 180 degrees. When the liquid level rises, the flip-flops change from white to red; when the liquid level falls, the flip-flops change from red to white. The boundary between the red and white sections of the indicator represents the actual height of the liquid level in the container, thus achieving liquid level indication.
※HQ-UHZ-59/C Series Side-Mounted Magnetic Level Gauge Features

※ HQ-UHZ-59/C Series Side-Mounted Magnetic Level Gauge Steel Pipe Flange Standard
The connection flanges of the level gauges manufactured by our factory all adopt the standard of the Ministry of Chemical Industry (HG20592-20635-97) implemented on February 1, 1998. This standard is revised based on the original standards HGJ44-76-91 and HG20529-92, and refers to ISO7005-1 (1992) standard and ANSI and DIN standards. The revised new standard includes the two major internationally used European and American systems, forming a complete set of pipe flange, gasket, and fastener standards that are clear in content, suitable for national conditions, and in line with international standards. The applicable steel pipe outer diameter of this standard is expanded from the domestically used series to the internationally used series (A) and the domestically used series (B).

※HQ-UHZ-59/C Series Side-Mounted Magnetic Level Gauge Application Notes
●The auxiliary devices, supporting instruments and accessories for the side-mounted magnetic level gauge are shown in the relevant sections of this selection document.
●Users should pay attention to ensuring the geometric tolerances during manufacturing and welding of the connecting flanges on their equipment, otherwise it will affect installation and use.
●In the outline drawing, "M" is called the "submergence distance" of the side-mounted magnetic level gauge. This is an important parameter among the basic parameters of the level gauge that users must understand. According to Archimedes' principle, the length of the magnetic float of the level gauge depends on the density of the measured liquid medium. The lower the liquid medium density, the longer the magnetic float, and the longer the "submergence distance" from the lower liquid inlet pipe to the bottom of the main pipe, and vice versa. To facilitate design engineers and users for correct use and installation, a comparison table of typical liquid medium densities and submergence distances is provided for reference. Liquid Medium Density and Float Distance Correlation Table (Reference Data)
※HQ-UHZ-59/C Series Side-Mounted Magnetic Level Gauge Installation, Use, and Maintenance
● To prevent the magnetic float from being damaged by high-speed movement inside the main pipe during transportation, the magnetic float is fixed at the lower liquid inlet pipe with a retaining wire before the level gauge leaves the factory. Users should remove the retaining wire before installation and use.
● The level gauge must be installed vertically to ensure that the magnetic float can move freely up and down inside the main pipe.
● A shut-off valve should be installed between the level gauge and the container to cut off the material during cleaning and maintenance.
● No magnetic materials are allowed near the level gauge body, otherwise, it will directly affect the normal operation of the level gauge.
● After the level gauge is installed, it needs to be calibrated with a magnet. Guide the magnetic flip column once with the magnet so that the display below the zero point is red and the display above the zero point is white.
● When the level gauge is put into operation, the upper liquid inlet valve should be opened first, and then the lower liquid inlet valve should be slowly opened to allow the liquid medium to enter the main pipe smoothly, avoiding the liquid medium carrying the float to rise rapidly, causing the magnetic flip column to malfunction or become disordered (if this occurs, recalibrate with a magnet).
● When opening the bottom flange blind plate and installing the magnetic float, pay attention that the heavier end with the magnetic part is facing upwards; it cannot be installed upside down!
● No solid impurities or magnetic impurities should enter the level gauge body to avoid jamming the float and reducing buoyancy.
● Depending on the medium, the drain valve can be opened regularly to clean the main pipe and remove deposited substances inside the pipe.
